I thought all of the speakers were excellent.
I felt completely inspired, full of hope and love for the planet and for humanity, and excited that something like this was happening in Inverness.

I thought the speakers were absolutely fantastic. They all had something different to offer and I was even impressed with the Minister! Jay Griffiths moved me to tears – something that has never happened to me before in a conference – by her wonderful eloquence. There was so much to take in and so much deep emotion that I was quite exhausted by the end of the day.
My overall experience was one of connection to everyone who spoke and who I spoke to. It was a joy to be with so many like-minded people and I felt the natural world was celebrated beautifully. Many issues could have been depressing but overall the feeling was of positive opportunity in the difficult times we are living in.

Thanks again to you and Louise for bringing together such an impressive array of talent.
Throughout the day as the speakers illuminated the room with their worldly connections, I felt like a bubble about to burst at any point with the sheer excitement that had captured my being.
This has been a personal quest all my life from early childhood, that sense of wonderment and connection to the Earth. I have an arts background and later went on to study environmental management which has brought me here to teach environmental subjects in the planning department.
My own personal quest has been through wild wanderings and books that bring me closer to my own understanding, Jay and David spoke to my soul.

Matthew and Louise, thanks for putting so much effort and professionalism into Friday: a great day full of energy. During the discussion I went up to Great Glen House and thought the work looked fitting to its context and works really well.
